Today many Christians believe that they go to heaven when they die, and use several key verses out of context to support these beliefs. But the bible does not teach that we go to heaven, rather it teaches that we are resurrected when Jesus returns and live with Him forever on a renewed Earth. Today we will answer popular challenge verses that people use to support the belief in going to heaven.
My goodness. I cannot tell you how many well-educated (or they should have been) pastors have preached “absent from the body, present with the Lord”. Good grief. If you really think about what Tudor is teaching us here; it makes so much more sense.
You're exactly right. I just came up from a rabbit hole I went down reading articles by Ray Burns and Scott Aniol around the music that Hillsong, Bethel, the Jesus Culture and Elevation puts out. Alarming. SBC (the church I used to attend) uses this music all the time. I didn't like it, no one did and many complained. The church passed it off as us being fuddy duddies, but these articles validated me. They're not just terrible songs, that awful music has a demonic purpose.
I'll miss the people there tremendously, but having studied many of your lessons, along with my bible I know I made the right choice to leave. I hope others get away from places that will do harm to their relationship with the Lord.
It's a crazy time and certainly the more you learn it's hard to find where to belong. But God has given you great knowledge, so use it to help others out of deception too so that you have purpose and can contribute to their lives

Most people are deceived by tradition here unfortunately.

Exactly the encouragement I needed today. Thank you, Tudor.
