In junior high we had to create a science project and display it at the annual science fair for everyone to see. I don’t remember if this was my project, or someone else’s, but there was a presentation on water that remained stuck in my head all of these years.

The presentation was pretty simple yet very clever. It was calling for the banning of an unnamed chemical because of its supposed danger. Real facts were given, like how this chemical kills countless people per year, and people were allowed to sign a petition for the local government to ban it for good. The fun part was at the end: revealing that the chemical was, in fact, water.
