One thing I’ve always been incredibly grateful for is my neighborhood. Especially with so many places in the world having become a living hell because of political instability, I find the gift of a peaceful place to live to be one of the most valuable gifts someone can have. With that in mind, I try to take walks often, and it never ceases to amaze me how fascinating the nearby flora and fauna are. They are a great reminder of many things, but one of them is that where there is intelligent design there, too, must be an Intelligent Designer.
As a kid I used to take painting lessons, and I always had a high respect for realist painters because realism is so difficult. I will never forget vacationing with my family in France and seeing the paintings in the Louvre or Versailles. Some of them looked like photographs, and of course were incredibly valuable. Throughout my life I’ve always been involved in the arts one way or another, yet today I see that the art we create is nothing compared to the giant art exhibit we find ourselves in day in and day out.
