Eastern Orthodoxy is a religion with hundreds of millions of adherents and an interesting history. Yet in context of bible prophecy and the end times, we are warned to get out of any denomination because Mystery Babylon will reconcile all her harlot daughters to her at the end. Today we will see proof that this is the case with Eastern Orthodoxy and the ecumenical future it has with Rome.
This was my second journey through this brave and comprehensive piece. For my own part I struggle to describe the sheer relief at hearing yet again that 'Church' is not a physical structure in which a demonic and man-made regime is being forcefully imposed. I do not want my ',fear' nor my love of Christ to be interfered with by a corporate middle-man. 50 years later I am grateful that at least here I paid attention to God-given instincts of danger instilled from the earliest age. But a deeper concern was for my best friend who I thought was lost deep in E.Orthodoxy. A waterfall of relief came twice after he viewed this offering and expressed to me a knowing and calm gratitude himself to Tudor... as if being released from past confusions perhaps? The pagan magic is thick and formidable and only the most expert Surgery could have won over his sharp and discerning mind. So on we go... stumbling just a little closer to Christ than we were before. Good shooting Tudor.
That is a common misconception. The Bible evolved naturally based on the way the church recognized who was inspired and who wasn't. People knew Paul or Jude or John were legitimate and Gnostic gospels or counterfeit teachings were false, long before the council of Nicaea. Also that council wasn't to create the Bible, it was to affirm the existing canon because of heresies. If the Catholic Church conspired to create the Bible they did a horrible job, because the Bible refutes the Catholic Church.
That helps thank you. Do you believe the Bible is "free of errors" and all of it is perfectly divinely written or inspired (66 books and as they are in our Bible)?
We have to distinguish between the Bible and translations of the Bible. The Bible is the total Revelation given to us by God through his spirit by way of imperfect human beings. The meaning and information that God revealed to mankind is perfect and without error. How were that meaning is conveyed through language and you've had multiple translations and copies over thousands of years. Those translations and copies have many variances and each comes with their various errors. Every translation is going to have either poor word choices or errors, but that doesn't mean the Bible has errors. That is why it always matters how to read in context and do research and study the Bible. It's important to use multiple resources and cross reference. Why? Because you wanted to discern the meaning, not rely on the actual word choices. It is the meaning that is timeless, and that is the treasure we are trying to find as students of God's word.

Happy to hear about your friend!! That's awesome. Orthodoxy has some seductive spells that's for sure, I can tell you that!
How do you view or reconcile the fact that our Bible was assembled (determined what was the canon) by the Roman Catholic church?
